Hitsats Displacement Camp: Site Overview
Location
Located in Tigray's Northwestern zone of Asgede District, close to the city of Andaslas-Shire. Previously known as a detention center for Eritrean refugees before the Tigray War.
Living Conditions
Considered one of the less favorable camps in the region. Poorly equipped with electricity and water. Built with plastic sheeting, poles/sticks, and nails.
