    The solution

didn’t need to be complex. We started with bread.

The title of this piece, taken from the timeless verse in Matthew 25:35, captures the essence of our mission. It reminds us that responding to hunger is not an optional act of charity; it is a fundamental act of humanity. It is the simple, direct answer to a direct call.

    Currently,

at the Weyneshet camp, over 6,000 children, along with countless lactating mothers, wait each morning for their first meal of the day. Every morning, the RAS GLOBAL team bakes 1,000 fresh loaves of bread. While this provides a lifeline for 1,000 children, our work is far from over.

    The Reality of our Capacity

Our bakery has the physical capacity to feed all 6,000 children in the camp and support the nursing mothers who need nutrition most. However, we are currently operating below our full potential. We have the ovens, we have the team, and we have the will—we only lack the consistent resources to scale.

    When you support

our Morning Daily Bread Program, you aren’t just funding a bakery. You are physically placing bread into the hands of a child who would otherwise go without. You are answering the quiet, persistent hope that forms in those lines every morning.
